Environmental Services Department

This department, supervised by Director of Nursing Marie Ross, cleans and sanitizes exam rooms, patient rooms, trauma rooms, hallways, and special purpose rooms and buildings on the grounds of the hospital/clinic. Under OSHA guidelines, the coworkers use individual cleaning devices for each patient's room. Specific cleansers and chemicals control for infectious diseaes. Deep-cleaning procedures apply before a new patient is admitted to a vacated hospital room.
(Left) Hope Young is the senior member of the department with 17 years' experience. She also cooks patient meals every other weekend and as needed on other occasions. (Right) Eugenia Willingham will celebrate her 10th year in housekeeping and weekend dietary in May. She is a talented seamstress who double-hems the U.S. flag flown outside the hospital and performs uniform and other alterations for coworkers.
(Left) Elsa Reece has 6 years in the department, following 4 years in housekeeping at the Ardmore hospital. She was raised in Leon and graduated from Turner High School. (Right) Alyssa Lee joined the department in May from the security staff of Falconhead Resort. She grew up in Pawhuska and Tulsa, graduating from high school in 2006.
