First Aid Attendants Handle Many Medical Calls

From their duty stations inside winStar Casino, the Love County EMS/Fire Brigade First Aid Attendants respond to a wide variety of medical calls involving patrons and employees. Sometimes the cause is excitement. "One man passed out from the exctement of winning $50,000," said Kenzie Bryant, EMT. Below, meet three of our valued First Aid Attendants at WinStar Casino.

On the night shift since 2011, Bryant says
faith supllments her medical training.
"Faith helps me keep my wits together.
I pray before and after seeing a patient."
She is pursuing R.N. studies at North Central
Texas College and plans to become a
certified midwife.

Garrett Wyatt, EMT,
First Aid Attendant,

A First Aid Attendant since 2013, Wyatt
will finish the Love County EMS Paramedic
training program in July and plans to
pursue critical care and firefighter training.
He holds a criminal justice degree from
Grayson County College. He is a veteran
of 6 years in the U.S. Army, including
service in Afghanistan.

"The patient contact here is amazing.
This is a great place to start out as a
new EMT," says Dutton, who started
his job in 2013 with firefighter/EMS
experience from Callisburg, TX, where
he was president of the volunteer fire
service.
His future plans are to attend firefighter
school and, possibly, medical school.
